Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action

Was this really necessary? did they reaaallly need to ruin such an amazing and popular anime? The answer is no….but it’s happening anyway!  Fullmetal Alchemist will be a live-action movie. Easily one of Arakawa Hiromu’s best works, they had no choice but to squeeze out the success it had and make it live for us to see!

It will be interesting to see how they transfer the magical elements, the suit of armor that Edward’s brother Alphonse is trapped in and other Alchemy being used into a live adaptation. Since I had just finished seeing Attack on Titan live-action and it was a big disappointment….I really hope with this movie they do not leave key points out and put an effort into catering to the fans needs and doing better job.

The movie is set to premier this summer sometime, not sure of the exact date as yet. So far the Role of Edward Elric will be played by (Sigh) Yamada Ryosuke from the Idol group Hey!Say!JUMP. He also starred in the live action adaptation of Assassination Classroom. That is all that is known for now!

Thanks for Reading!

  1. Arguably this would be best done by a western film crew because of how important the diversity was in this series.

I agree that it’s not necessary, at-least with Japan working on it. Their cameras look like TV Dramas and their CG is weaker than movies on GoFundMe or SyFy original films.

      1. We just need the right people to do the films. Comics are as close as we get to mainstream nerd material, we need those individuals to look at anime/manga as worthy titles. “All You Need Is Kill” worked and hopefully “Ghost In The Shell” does.

        No problem for the comment.

  2. I have been browsing on-line greater than three hours these days, but I never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours.

It is lovely worth enough for me. In my view, if all web owners
and bloggers made excellent content as you probably did, the net might be much more useful than ever before.
